Collections + Connections: An Evening of Art, Architecture, and Industry Appreciation at Opera Gallery Houston

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026 United Constructors of Texas had the privilege of welcoming leaders from Houston’s commercial real estate, construction, architecture, and design communities for Collections + Connections, an intimate industry appreciation event held at Opera Gallery Houston in River Oaks District.

We are especially grateful to our gracious hosts, Kara Przybyl and Gregory Lahmi of Opera Gallery, for welcoming our guests into such an exceptional space and helping create an evening that felt both elevated and personal.

The evening brought together principals, firm owners, and trusted partners for a private setting designed around meaningful conversation, shared appreciation, and the kind of relationships that continue to shape Houston’s built environment.

Surrounded by museum-quality works from internationally recognized artists including Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Fernando Botero, and Yayoi Kusama, guests were able to experience Opera Gallery in a way that reflected the creativity, precision, and lasting impact shared across the art, architecture, construction, and design communities.

United Constructors has spent more than 28 years building commercial spaces across Houston and throughout Texas. Much of that growth has come through long-standing relationships, repeat clients, and the confidence of partners who understand the value of consistent execution. Events like Collections + Connections give us an opportunity to pause, recognize those relationships, and spend time with the people and firms who continue to move this industry forward.

The evening was made possible through the collaboration of our co-hosting partners and sponsors, including Dynamic Hive, M. Baker International, K2 Contract Studio, and the team at Opera Gallery Houston. Guests enjoyed light bites from Eunice, refreshments, and a carefully curated gallery experience in one of Houston’s most refined art spaces.
